Welcome
My passion for photography began as a child with a Kodak film camera my mother gave me. Fascinated by mechanics and engineering, I quickly fell in love with both the technical and creative sides of making photographs.
While serving in the U.S. Navy, photography remained a constant companion. A close friend returning from Japan brought me a Canon F-1, a camera I treasured for years. After leaving the Navy, I studied physics in college while taking photography courses that deepened my understanding of light, composition, and the science behind every image.
Although my career led me into engineering in California, photography has always remained an important creative outlet. I waited patiently for digital photography to reach the quality I loved in film before fully embracing it.
Today I enjoy capturing architecture, cityscapes, landscapes, flowers, and the places I explore, creating photographs that blend technical precision with artistic expression.
